About Us

One India Development Foundation (OIDF) is a Section 8 non-profit organization dedicated to creating a unified, prosperous nation where the rural agrarian economy and the urban knowledge economy operate in sync.

Incorporated in 2025, OIDF was born from a singular realization: true development cannot happen in silos. A farmer cannot prosper without market linkages, and a rural youth cannot succeed without moWhile headquartered in New Delhi to maintain proximity to policy-makers and CSR hubs, our heart beats in the field.

The OIDF Advantage: An Alliance-First Approach

Unlike traditional NGOs that often work in isolation, OIDF operates as the non-profit anchor of a mature technical ecosystem. We leverage the intellectual property, infrastructure, and networks of our corporate and technical alliances to deliver implementation standards usually reserved for large multinational programs.

Our Service: We transition farmers to Certified Organic & Natural Farming.

Certification Support

Facilitating Group Certification (NPOP/PGS-India) to make crops export-ready.

Input Management

Training farmers to produce their own bio-fertilizers (Jeevamrut/Vermicompost) to reduce dependency on expensive market chemicals.

Climate Resilience

Introducing drought-resistant crop varieties and water-efficient practices in Odisha and the Northeast.

Technical Partner: QSEAL Agritech (Providing audit and quality control protocols).

Market Integration & Value Chains

The Challenge: A farmer producing “Gold” (Organic produce) often sells it for the price of “Bronze” because they lack access to premium markets.

Our Service: We build the “missing middle” between the farm gate and the city plate.

FPO Management:

Incubating and professionalizing Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) so farmers can aggregate produce and negotiate better prices.

Supply Chain Linkage

Directly connecting FPOs to retail brands and export houses, eliminating predatory intermediaries.

Post-Harvest Infrastructure

Setting up village-level grading and sorting centers to prevent wastage.

Technical Partner: One India Organic Utpad Ltd (providing market access and retail shelves).

Rural Skill Development (Education)

The Challenge: Rural youth migrate to cities for low-wage, unskilled labor because their education does not match industry needs.

Our Service: NSQF-Aligned Vocational Training that guarantees employability.

Technical Trades

Training in high-demand rural sectors: Solar Panel Maintenance, Agri-Tech Equipment Repair, and Food Processing.

Digital Fluency

“Digital Sakhi” programs to ensure rural women can navigate banking apps, government portals, and e-commerce.

Placement Support

Ensuring certified youth find dignified employment or self-employment opportunities within their own districts.

The Challenge

Women's Economic Resilience

Women perform 80% of farm labor but own less than 10% of the land and control almost none of the income.

Our Service: Turning women from laborers into Decision Makers.

Micro-Enterprise Incubation: Helping Self-Help Groups (SHGs) launch businesses in mushroom cultivation, spice grinding, and handicraft packaging.

Financial Inclusion: Facilitating the opening of individual bank accounts and linking SHGs to formal credit (Bank Linkage) to break the grip of local moneylenders.
